How to Add Funds to Your Claw0x Wallet
Three simple ways to top up your balance and start using AI skills. No crypto experience required.
Think of USDC as a digital dollar. 1 USDC = $1 USD, always. It is not a volatile cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. It does not go up or down in value.
USDC is issued by Circle, a regulated US financial company (NYSE: CRCL). Every USDC token is backed 1:1 by US dollars and Treasury bonds held in reserve, audited monthly by Deloitte. Learn more at usdc.com.
We use USDC on the Base network — a secure, low-cost payment layer built by Coinbase (NASDAQ: COIN). Transaction fees on Base are typically under $0.01, so nearly all of your money goes toward using skills.
💡 You are not investing in crypto. You are simply loading prepaid credits (like adding funds to a cloud API account) to pay for AI skill calls. USDC is just the payment rail.

The fastest way to get started. Works like any online payment — no crypto knowledge needed.
Go to your Wallet
Navigate to Dashboard → Wallet and click the Deposit tab.
Enter an amount
Type the USD amount you want to add (minimum $1.00).
Complete payment
A secure payment window opens (powered by MoonPay). Enter your card details, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Your payment is automatically converted to USDC and credited to your balance.
Supported: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Processing fee is typically 3-5% depending on your region and card type.
If you already have an account on a crypto exchange like Coinbase, Binance, or OKX, you can withdraw USDC directly to your Claw0x balance. This is often the cheapest option.
Buy USDC on your exchange
If you don't already hold USDC, buy some using your local currency. Most exchanges support bank transfer, card, or P2P trading.
Copy the Claw0x deposit address
Go to Dashboard → Wallet → Deposit → Transfer USDC and copy the deposit address shown.
Withdraw USDC to the deposit address
In your exchange, go to Withdraw → select USDC → paste the Claw0x deposit address.
⚠️ Important: Select "Base" as the withdrawal network.
Do NOT select Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, or any other network. Sending USDC on the wrong network will result in permanent loss of funds.
Verify your deposit
After the transfer confirms (usually 1-5 minutes), go back to the Wallet page. Enter the amount you sent and paste the transaction hash from your exchange. Click "Verify & Credit Balance" — we verify the transfer on-chain and credit your account instantly.
Where to find your transaction hash:
- Coinbase: Withdrawal history → click the transaction → copy "Transaction hash"
- Binance: Wallet → Transaction History → click the withdrawal → copy "TxID"
- OKX: Assets → Withdrawal History → click the record → copy "On-chain TxID"
Which exchanges support USDC on Base?
Coinbase (native Base support), Binance, OKX, Bybit, Kraken. Check your exchange's withdrawal page to confirm Base network is available for USDC.

If you already have USDC in a self-custody wallet like MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, or Trust Wallet, you can send it directly. This is the fastest and cheapest method.
Make sure you are on the Base network
Open your wallet and switch to the Base network. If Base is not listed, add it manually:

Copy the Claw0x deposit address
Go to Dashboard → Wallet → Deposit → Transfer USDC and copy the deposit address.
Send USDC
In your wallet, tap Send → select USDC → paste the Claw0x deposit address → enter the amount → confirm.
⚠️ Double-check: You must be on the Base network and sending USDC (not ETH, USDT, or other tokens).
Verify your deposit
After the transaction confirms (usually under 1 minute on Base), go to the Wallet page, enter the amount and paste your transaction hash, then click "Verify & Credit Balance".
You can find your transaction hash in your wallet's activity/history tab, or search your wallet address on BaseScan.
Need USDC on Base?
If your USDC is on Ethereum or another chain, you can bridge it to Base using Base Bridge or Across Protocol. Bridging typically takes 1-10 minutes.
Is this safe? Am I investing in crypto?
No, you are not investing. USDC is a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US dollar — it does not fluctuate in value. Think of it as loading prepaid credits onto your account, similar to adding funds to an AWS or Stripe balance. Your funds are used exclusively to pay for AI skill API calls.
What if I send USDC on the wrong network?
Claw0x only accepts USDC on the Base network (Chain ID 8453). If you send tokens on Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, or any other network, the funds will not appear in your account and may be permanently lost. Always double-check the network before sending.
How long does it take for my balance to update?
Card payments: 1-3 minutes after payment completes. Exchange transfers: 1-10 minutes depending on the exchange's processing time. Wallet transfers: under 1 minute (Base block time is ~2 seconds). After the on-chain transfer confirms, use the "Verify & Credit Balance" button to instantly credit your account.
What is the minimum deposit?
$1.00 for card payments. No minimum for direct USDC transfers.
Can I withdraw my balance?
Yes. Go to Wallet → Withdraw to send USDC to any Base wallet address. Minimum withdrawal is $10.00. From there, you can convert to fiat via Coinbase, MoonPay, or any exchange that supports USDC.
What is the Base network?
Base is a secure, low-cost payment network built by Coinbase. It processes transactions in seconds with fees under $0.01. We chose Base because it offers the best combination of speed, cost, and security for micropayments.
I don't see my deposit after verifying. What should I do?
First, confirm the transaction is successful on BaseScan by searching your transaction hash. Make sure the token is USDC, the network is Base, and the recipient matches the Claw0x deposit address. If everything looks correct, contact us at support@claw0x.com with your transaction hash.
